Connecting for Community is a powerful gathering of master and apprentice change agents and social entrepreneurs across sectors and communities, from around the world.
We work together sharpening our tools, learning, challenging and encouraging each other, and in the diversity of our backgrounds, creating our own community. It is inspiring and invigorating work for each and every participant. At Connecting for Community we find our own voice weaving with the experience and grace of other creating a whole fabric of relationships that goes with us out into our own communities to continue our work changing the world.
Join us in Cincinnati, Ohio April 24, 25 and 26, 2013 with sessions being held at the Cincinnati Club in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.
Our connections to ideas and with each other are stimulated by the presence of elders who have worked in the space of community building and change for many, many decades. We will be joined again this year, by Peter Block, John McKnight and Walter Brueggemann and are delighted to add renowned story teller/cultural anthropologist Angeles Arrien.
On the 3rd day of Connecting for Community, Harrison Owen will share his reflections on 3 decades of work in the creation and use of Open Space and we will together integrate our learning by concluding our time together in an Open Space dialogue.
